That’s fun

Since my school was cancelled for no ice on the ground (and I have to work on Saturday now.. THANK YOU), I got to do some major Craigslisting.  And, I actually found a very simple antique looking chair for $15.  So, I snatched that sucker up asap.  Here is what it looked like before.

We ran to Home Fabrics and Rugs and got two fabrics to pick from.  That is my new favorite store; they have the BEST prices and so much to choose from.  I found out that they have free upholstery classes, sewing classes, etc… fun!!  So I am going to start going to those bad boys.  Anywhom, I got this fabric that I am going to save for another project.

So, after giving the chair a good clean, putting on new foam because the other one was basically gone (gross), and new fabric… here is our ‘new’ chair!  What do you think?!

Animal print never gets old for me!!  I love it… although this is the ONLY animal print in my house.  Odd.  I just now realized that.

Should I paint the chair?  I don’t think we want to right now… I really like all the colors that the showing now; but…???

love the chair and the animal print fabric. I love Home Fabrics and Rugs or whatever it is called. As a matter of fact I have the same yellow fabric you have! I got it there too. I was going to use it for my kitchen curtains but decided not too. Let me know if you need anymore fabric I have a ton of it!
